Not much into Politics but it's 2008 SONA
Hmm I am not made for politics and in fact i make it a point not to listen to the news or read newspaper while i am having my meal. The worst thing I could feed my soul first thing in the morning and last thing at night would be news, news, news....that aren't good news. The reason i don't feed myself with it is simple. It isn't soul-nourishing at all. Media feeds all types of negative-flavoured-dishes and i am just not a willing victim to eat all these fatty, unhealthy issues. I wonder why my father loves it like fingerlickin-good an't live a day without it.
Anyway, wahhhhhhh, there are times i couldn't get away coz this type of menu is served everyday on tv and it smells even when it's someone else's meal. LOL!
2008 SONA (State of the Nation Address) again!
As usual it's time for various so called, anti-graft and curruption, peace and peace, freedom and truth lovers (how ironic? don't you see?) are once again freaked out to their finest viens! Time for their endless marching protests.
Hayzzzzzzz but don't you see it? HOw can an imperfect government demand a perfect president? How will a cancer-laden nation bring out cure ? When the mind is sick, the soul is too sick, the world is the same.
Hmmm the more they march around against poverty, against curruption, against ..against..against...
will obviously just bring out more continued years of the same protest.
here's a link to the SONA

Hmmm i think here's the first part of the speech that earns countless violent reactions. Aww ... to some this may be a sensible fact, but for others, it's a lame excuse and there's just no use for such lousy self-defense.
"Just a few months ago, we ended 2007 with the strongest economic growth in a generation. Inflation was low, the peso strong and a million new jobs were created. We were all looking to a better, brighter future.
Because tough choices were made, kumikilos na ang bayan sa wakas. Malapit na sana tayo sa pagbalanse ng budget. We were retiring debts in great amounts, reducing the drag on our country's development, habang namumuhunan sa taong bayan.
Biglang-bigla, nabaligtad ang ekonomiya ng mundo. Ang pagtalon ng presyo ng langis at pagkain ay nagbunsod ng pandaigdigan krisis, the worst since the Great Depression and the end of World War II. Some blame speculators moving billions of dollars from subprime mortgages to commodities like fuel and food. Others point of the very real surge in demand as millions of Chinese and Indians move up to the middle class.
Whatever the reasons, we are on a roller coaster ride of oil price hikes, high food prices and looming economic recession in the US and other markets. Uncertainty has moved like a terrible tsunami around the globe, wiping away gains, erasing progress.
This is a complex time that defies simple and easy solutions. For starters, it is hard to identify villains, unlike in the 1997 financial crisis. Everyone seems to be a victim, rich countries and poor, though certainly some can take more punishment than others.
To address these global challenges, we must go on building and buttressing bridges to allies around the world: to bring in the rice to feed our people, investments to create jobs; and to keep the peace and maintain stability in our country and the rest of the world.Yet even as we reach out to those who need, and who may need us, we strive for greater self-reliance."
I still feel that each family, each member should take responsibility . There are too many people who would love to act like helpless babies to be nursed in a big big world. Sometimes it is easy to blame other things, people, things, circumstances ....BUT NEVER OURSELVES. Perhaps because it is safer that way?
Hayz, we i don't think all other families in other nations said, they'll make lots and lots of babies beyond they can feed and then it's the President's duty to feed them all! Whoahhhhhhhh!
